Haï guys! Spent a great weekend ? Mine was awesome, after being featured by buzznet on facebook thanks to my article of Matthew Gray Gubler(<3), I went to a city called Mulhouse and found a flat for september!
Whatever. I listenened a lot of music because it was 7 hours of car, so .. yeah. And I just realised that I HAD TO make an article about the artist who won the X FACTOR UK 2012, James Arthur. There's a lot of Americans here, so maybe you don't know him, and that's cool because I'd love to make you listen and love that man.
Here he is ladies and gentleman. I know that winners on X FACTOR rarely end being famous, but he will. He is, actually. We can even hear his cover of "Impossible" in France. IN FRANCE, please. He is a fucking talented guy. His life was not all pink, of course. He had problems at school where he was expeled a few times. His parents were separated since he was 2, and it was hard for him to see his parents not talking, or insulting each other every time. He went off the rails but came back stronger thanks to music. He's a composer but for now I haven't heard any song from him.
Beside, you can watch his audition at X FACTOR, singing Tulisa's song "Young". You can feel his pain, this is terrible. Terribly amazing also.
OK,liked it ? GREAT, AWESOME. Now, OF COURSE he had 4 YES. So now, listen his cover of Bonnie Raitt - "You love me" he made at the Judges' House. I think this is the most heartbreaking cover he ever did on the show. This is crazy. Nicole Schwerzinger is totally into it, and Ne-yo felt every little piece of emotion in his voice. I swear you won't be disapointed. I SWEAR.
OK, loved it ? HERE'S MORE. As he won X FACTOR, he obviously got to the final. Here is the song he covered, "Impossible", by Shontelle. You will not loved it, you will adore it. The youtube video is some scenes of him to X FACTOR. From the begining, to the announce of the winner. Enjoy !
What else can I say ? Is there really anything to say ? He became important in my life, because he was nothing before X FACTOR. He made me believe again in that kind of shows, and that someone who looks like everybody else can become special, as long as you have that something special. He totally has.
I'll post more posts like that, making you guys discover great artists!
